This is a stop action animation i did on a white board for my in motion animation class. Its about a Dragon named Wut who’s name fits him quite well since majority of his speech consists of question marks XD lol. Wut is hungry and is looking for something to eat, preferably steak. So he goes around blowing fire at different things he thinks he could eat. The ending is a lil messy but its quite a surprise. XD lol Enjoy! Wut (c) Bezmo871

This is a stop motion animation I made for my in motion animation class of my littlest sister planting a couple seeds on pages of a plants magazine and as the pages flip (time pases) the plant begins to grow and grow and grow…the background music is done by a wonderful Icelandic group called Mum. The song is called “Green Grass of Tunnel”. I DO NOT OWN THE MUSIC!!!**** IT IS PROPERTY OF MUM AND THEIR PRODUCERS. Thanks and enjoy!

The Persistance of Dream stopmotion animation (by Bezmo871)

This is a video I made that was originally a 200+ page flipbook I made for a book binding class. The concept or idea behind this was that I was trying to convey the theme of common reoccuring dreams that the average person will experience at least once in their lives. The video/flipbook is broken down into three dreams: 1) walking on solid ground (reality or dreams of real-life) 2) Flying in the sky (dreams of flying or something more surreal and magical) 3) Falling into Darkness (dreams where you are falling, or basically, a nightmare). Inbetween each dream stage, there is the sleeping and awakening phases where the eye opens slowly and closes. This is a representation of sleep cycles.

In this Video, I actually took pictures of my eye opening and closing and photoshopped it using a few brushes i got off of deviantart (thank you wonderful deviants who i am about to name!)

Also, thank you to Clint Mansell for composing such beautiful works of musical art. I used his “Summer Overture” version of the well known and loved theme from his “Requiem for a Dream” score, in my video. Its a goregeous piece that is both mystifying and mysterious. It sets the mood perfectly for my video.

This is a stopmotion piece displaying experimental artworks I made for an expressive french poem assignment where each student was assigned a french poet, then we picked one of that poet’s poems and used it as a vehicle for expressive handmade and experimental type and font studies. The assignment was all about handwriting and the limitations of handwriting especially when you step out of what is legible. This assignment is about pushing boundaries the same way the early 1900’s avant garde artists in France did.

This video is based on a collection of artworks I created for the Kimmel Center’s exhibit for the PIFA 2011 (Philadelphia International Festival of the Art). This year’s theme was Paris, France and the show was called, “Art, Culture and the City of Lights”. http://pifa.org/ Enjoy!

J’ai bâti une maison au milieu de l’Océan

Ocean of Earth

I built a house in the middle of the ocean
Its windows are the rivers flowing from my eyes
Octopuses swarm all over the walls
Listen to their triple heartbeat and their beaks knock at the window panes

Blazing House
Swift season
Singing season
Airplanes are laying eggs (bombs)
Watch out, they’re going to sink the anchor
Watch out for this ink they’re throwing
Its a good thing you descended from the sky
The Honeysuckle of the sky is climbing
The earthly octopuses quiver
and then we get closer and closer to becoming our own gravediggers
Pale octopuses of chalky waves oh octopuses with pale beaks
Around the house lies the ocean you know so well
The ocean that is never still
